The team's current roles include software/hardware pathfinding, researching next-generation architecture ideas, and demonstrating their value proposition to influence software and hardware architecture decisions.The System Modeling Engineering Intern, is part of the overall model development team, tasked with abstracting SSD architectures into software behavior models. Modeling is an integral part of the product development cycle, providing a vehicle for architectural pathfinding, algorithms development and media features feasibility studies.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Develop and code modules as part of a large codebase.Routinely interact with other team members of a software development group.Participate in technical discussions and decision making.Attend standup meetings, and huddles.Understand the underlying system architecture and produce coherent data driven analysis.QualificationsPerusing a graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Programing proficiency in C++, Python a must.Experience working with SystemC good to have.Prior understanding or class work experience of computer architecture a plus.Prior knowledge or class work experience in Non Volatile Memory and/or SSD a plus.The roll is on site at the Sacramento offices.
