You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define how hardware and software components interact across platforms, ensuring alignment with long-term technical strategies.You’ll be part of a small but high-impact team responsible for architectural vision, product integration, and strategic planning. Your work will directly shape the development of intelligent systems such as automated feeding stations, robotic milking solutions, and other smart farming technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and evolve system-level architecture strategies for integrated hardware/software platforms.Translate product initiatives into technical solutions aligned with organizational goals.Support portfolio planning by identifying architectural dependencies, risks, and opportunities.Collaborate with product owners and supply chain teams to ensure architecture meets business and operational needs.Maintain ownership of platform architecture and contribute to long-term product vision.Candidate ProfileYou are a technically skilled and strategically minded architect with a strong background in software systems and product development. You enjoy working in collaborative environments and have a holistic view of how systems should function in real-world applications.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.Approximately 5 years of experience in software architecture and product development.Solid understanding of distributed systems, IoT devices, embedded systems, and communication protocols.Ability to design for performance, cost-efficiency, and ease of installation and troubleshooting.Broad knowledge of architecture principles that support scalable and maintainable software development.Strong communication skills in English.Working EnvironmentHybrid work model with office located south of Stockholm.Occasional travel required (a few times per year).Collaborative and innovation-driven culture.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies that support animal welfare and sustainable agriculture.
