About The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity to join our Retail team in the role of Key Account Manager reporting to the Head of Wholesale. The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing assigned channels and Customers to contribute to the achievement of the global sales strategy by growing the business with new and existing brand aligned Customers, managing Distributor relationships, new business development, exceeding or achieving sales targets and servicing end-Customers and Wholesale Customer relationships to the highest standards. Key ResponsibilitiesChannel Manager - Develops and implements plans to grow sales within assigned channels.
Persuade internal or external partners to take action that will grow sales within assigned channels. Demonstrate thorough understanding of T2 products, assigned channels and industry related issues to provide insights to discover untapped opportunities and provide solutions. Develop and execute strategies to achieve growth within assigned channels including remedial action to address underperforming accounts. Develop pipeline and provides inputs to ensure effective stock forecasts to maximize sales opportunities. Complete weekly/monthly reporting providing Customer insights and sales analysis. Take ownership of the assigned wholesale sub-channels in S&OP meetings.
Sales Prospector - Finds new sales opportunities by identifying potential Customers that are brand aligned. Actively network with Customers and external partners who can help generate new business sales opportunities. Works with Distributor partners to drive acquisition of new Wholesale Customers. Deliver new business pitches including the completion of all tenders for assigned regions and channels. Create, negotiate, and close all commercial agreements. Manage all outbound and inbound enquiries and promptly approve brand aligned accounts.
Relationship Manager - Interacts with Customers during and after the sales process to meet or exceed Customer needs while promoting the organization’s Customer service reputation. Support Customers during and after the sale by anticipating their needs, providing them with expert advice, and resolving their issuesDevelop an understanding of who the decisions makers and influencers within key accounts and build effective relationships. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of key accounts and their performance, issues, and opportunities. Global Sales Mind-Set - Advocates a global viewpoint; makes decisions and takes actions aligned with global strategy; considers global implications.
Pursue global networking opportunities with internal or external partners. Leverage his or her own understanding of the organization’s global strategy, global trends, and regional differences to achieve global sales goals.
