The role This role will sit at the heart of our Ruakura operations team and play a key part in keeping our facilities running smoothly, safely and efficiently. This role will be ideal for a recent graduate with experience working in a facilities role who is looking for the next challenge in their career. Reporting to the Ruakura Precinct Manager, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating repairs, maintenance, compliance work and contractor schedulingSupport the team with general facility maintenance administrative tasks and day-to-day operationsPrepare and monitor contractual and service level agreements with contractors and service providers for site maintenanceAssist with developing outgoings budgets and monitoring financial performanceEnsure effective relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholdersWhat youâll bring To Be Successful In This Role, Youâll BringA relevant tertiary qualification in facilities management or related fieldAt least 2 yearsâ experience in a similar property or facilities coordinator/management roleSolid understanding of facilities management and building servicesGood problem solving and communication skillsConfidence using MS applications and digital toolsExcellent time management and organisational skillsDeveloping your understanding and awareness of Waikato-Tainui culture and tikanga will excite you, as well as increasing your proficiency in te reo Maaori.
