Based in Surabaya, this role will lead a small team of recruiters and coordinators, ensuring alignment with workforce planning, employer branding, and talent pipeline development.The ideal candidates will bring deep recruitment expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic oversight. You'll work closely with HR leadership and business heads to attract top talent, enhance candidate experience, and position Meratus as an employer of choice in the logistics and maritime sector.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Talent Acquisition LeadershipLead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process across departments, ensuring timely and quality hires aligned with business needs.Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to forecast hiring demand and develop proactive sourcing strategies.Oversee the development and maintenance of talent pipelines for critical roles and future growth areas.Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sourcing and branding strategies.Team Management & Capability BuildingSupervise and mentor a team of recruiters and recruitment support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training to build team capability.Implement recruitment best practices, process improvements, and compliance standards across the team.Stakeholder Engagement & AdvisoryAct as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, guiding them through role scoping, interview planning, and candidate selection.Facilitate hiring manager training on recruitment tools, interview techniques, and candidate experience.Resolve escalations and ensure alignment between recruitment outcomes and business expectations.Employer Branding & Candidate ExperienceLead employer branding initiatives including job fairs, campus outreach, social media campaigns, and industry events.Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience from application to onboarding.Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to amplify Meratus EVP across digital and offline channels.Data-Driven Recruitment OperationsTrack and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, pipeline health, etc.) to drive performance and decision-making.Maintain and optimize ATS/CRM usage, ensuring data accuracy and reporting capability.Prepare monthly dashboards and insights for HR and executive leadership.Candidate ProfileExperience & ExpertiseMinimum 10 years of progressive recruitment experience, including at least 2 years in a team leadership or senior advisory role.Proven success in hiring across logistics, maritime, engineering, or supply chain sectors.Strong sourcing skills including market mapping, passive candidate engagement, and executive search techniques.Familiarity with regional talent markets across Indonesia and Southeast Asia is a plus.Education & CredentialsBachelors' Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.Certifications in recruitment, employer branding, or HR analytics are advantageous.Skills & AttributesStrategic mindset with strong operational discipline and attention to detail.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in ATS/CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruitment analytics tools.Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.Why Join Meratus?Lead a high-impact function within a legacy brand driving transformation in Southeast Asia.Collaborate with senior leaders on workforce strategy and organizational growth.Enjoy a dynamic, inclusive workplace that values innovation, integrity, and development.Access regional exposure, leadership development, and career progression opportunities.
