Role PurposeAs the Talent Advisory & HR Business Partner, you will play a dual role supporting both client-facing talent consulting initiatives and internal HR business partnering primarily across the APAC region.This 12-month contract role provides continuity and advisory expertise during a period of transformation — combining strategic talent consulting, organisational development, and capability building with operational HR support for regional teams.You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, enabling talent and performance outcomes through effective workforce planning, coaching, and project delivery. The role also ensures seamless HR operations and employee experience by providing hands-on partnership to local managers and employees.Key Accountabilities:Talent Advisory & ConsultingLead delivery of the T&G Global HR Advisory Service, providing responsive, high-quality HR guidance across Asia and the United States.Serve as the relationship lead and key advisor, ensuring business leaders receive timely, practical advice across core HR areas including remuneration, employee relations, policy interpretation, and performance management.Manage a tiered advisory model that balances self-service tools, specialist input, and escalation pathways to ensure consistent and efficient HR support.Provide strategic oversight of remuneration benchmarking, disciplinary and performance processes, and specialist ER advice through coordination with internal HR, Legal, and regional SMEs.Monitor service performance and recurring themes to identify insights, simplify processes, and inform the design of T&G’s future HR operating model.Maintain strong governance, reporting, and client engagement to ensure advice remains compliant, commercially sound, and aligned to Hudson RPO standards.HR Business Partnering (Internal)Act as the HR Business Partner for assigned APAC/ANZ business units, providing hands-on operational HR support.Lead cyclical HR activities — including performance, remuneration, and talent review processes — ensuring alignment with Hudson RPO policies and timelines.Advise managers on employee relations, engagement, and performance matters, ensuring fairness and compliance with local legislation.Collaborate with regional HR colleagues to ensure consistent HR practices and smooth HR operations.Partner with the VP, HR to deliver HR projects that enhance people processes, systems, and engagement.Learning, Capability & Project Support (Internal)Support design and delivery of learning programs focused on leadership, communication, and coaching skills.Contribute to projects in organisational development, inclusion, and culture evolution initiatives.Drive continuous improvement across HR processes and employee experience initiatives.Provide project support on HR system or process enhancements as required.Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementPartner closely with the Account Manager and client leadership teams to ensure alignment between internal HR priorities and client delivery.Build strong relationships with leaders and employees to promote an open, high-performance culture.Work cross-functionally with HR Centres of Excellence, Finance, and regional HR teams to deliver integrated people solutions.What You Bring to This RoleExperience & Expertise8+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, or Organisational Development roles.Strong understanding of HR operations, local employment law, and best practice HR frameworks across APAC/ANZ.Proven capability in consulting or advisory work — ideally within a professional services or talent solutions environment.Experience in designing or facilitating leadership and capability programs is desirable.Comfortable operating in matrixed, fast-paced, and project-oriented environments.Skills & AttributesStrategic yet hands-on approach — able to balance advisory work with operational delivery.Exceptional relationship management, influencing, and communication skills.Strong project management and organisational capability.Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret people data to inform decisions.Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and commercially astute.What Does Great Look Like in This RoleKey Internal and Client Stakeholders receive high-quality, timely HR and talent advisory support.Internal HR operations across APAC/ANZ run smoothly, with consistent application of policies and processes.Talent and capability initiatives deliver measurable improvement in engagement, leadership effectiveness, and retention.The HR function is seen as a proactive, strategic partner to both client and internal business teams.The role contributes to a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented employee experience across the region.Please note that parts of our communication used in the course of providing our services are generated with AI assistance and have been reviewed for accuracy by a human.
