So that the foundations of ancestral lands may be solid, benefitting M?ori from our past, present, and future alike. This is Te Tumu Paeroa-guardian, supporter, and advocate for the mana of M?ori land everywhere. As kaitiaki of whenua M?ori under the administration of the M?ori Trustee, we provide services that support owners and trustees in protecting and enhancing their whenua for generations to come.

He angit?tanga | About the roleThis is an all-encompassing digital communications role, with the added opportunity to use your versatile skill set across digital, communications, and engagement to project manage a range of events. In this role, you can expect to:

Develop and deliver a digital communications strategy across multiple channelsCreate engaging, creative content tailored to each platformStrategically monitor and manage digital channels and the website to drive effective, optimal engagementProject manage the delivery of internal and external events-from planning through to execution and evaluationPrepare compelling collateral and promotional material to support event deliveryUse your writing talents to support the communications team as neededTe Tumu Paeroa has a strong appetite to grow and expand its digital presence across social media and its website. They'll welcome your ideas, creativity, and knowledge of best practices on this exciting journey.

He k?rero m?u | What we're looking for: This role is ideal for someone who brings relevant experience along with a proactive mindset in social media and digital communications, and who has a strong affinity for working with and for a M?ori organisation. What we are looking for includes:

Proven digital communications experience, including content creation and channel managementStrong storytelling skills, with examples of bringing stories to life across digital platformsAn understanding of the core elements of a successful communications strategyData management skills, including digital data collection, analysis, and reportingExcellent communication and relationship management skills to engage effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and event professionalsA proactive, inquisitive mindset and a genuine passion for digital communications-and how it can be used to engage, excite, and educateSpecific to M?ori competency, we will look for: Ng? Pae M?hiotanga Reo M?ori:

Pae Tahi- Te Whakahua - A desire and ability to practise correct pronunciation of Te Reo M?ori is essential. Ng? Pae M?hiotanga Tikanga M?ori: Pae Tahi- N? Ia R? - An understanding and living of Tikanga M?ori on a day to day basis. Strong technical skills and knowledge of a range of channels and tools are expected. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, NAV, SharePoint, and/or M365 would be a definite advantage. If you also have experience with emerging technologies, including AI, we'd love to hear about it.
