PURPOSE OF THE ROLEThe Talent and People Operations role is responsible for leading high-volume recruitment efforts while supporting core HR functions such as onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and overall people operations. This role requires a proactive, highly organized HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and brings strong communication, prioritization, and stakeholder collaboration skills. This is a non-managerial role focused on execution, partnership, and operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.**Please note this is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of converting to a permanent position**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESThe following aspects of this role are indicative only and in no way limit the company in allocating additional accountabilities (specific tasks, projects or related activities) to the employee, within the scope of the employee’s level of competence, experience, knowledge and qualification.Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)Manage full-cycle recruitment (primarily the high-volume Licensed Sales Advisor roles) including direct candidate solicitation, resume and phone screens, coordinating interviews, preparing offers, and conducting reference checksBuild and maintain a pipeline of prospective licensed talent by connecting with candidates currently pursuing the LLQP license through proactive outreach and relationship buildingTrack recruitment metrics to ensure hiring goals and timelines are metOnboarding & Employee ExperienceCoordinate and facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hiresMonitor new hire progress and support integrations into teamsGather feedback and implement improvements to onboarding processesPeople Operations SupportRespond to day-to-day HR inquiries from team members and support employee communications and employer brand contentAct as primary administrator of Dayforce to manage performance and learning activitiesAssist with administrative and operational activities spanning the employee lifecycleCollaboration & Continuous ImprovementWork cross-functionally with Business Support, Payroll and L&D to support seamless people operationsIdentify gaps, recommend improvements, and implement efficiencies in recruitment and HR processesSupport people and learning initiatives such as employee engagement programs, trainingQualifications and Experience3+ years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations within a scaling or fast-paced environmentProven track record managing high-volume recruitmentExperience with LinkedIn RecruiterWorking knowledge of DayforceExperience spanning other functional areas of HRSkills and AttributesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levelsAbility to work independently while contributing as a collaborative team memberSuperior organizational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh level of emotional intelligence and ability to build trust and rapport quicklyAgile and adaptable, comfortable with a fast-paced, target-driven environment
