MS Windows Server OS and other OS environments such as UNIX / LINUXWorking knowledge of server hardware (RAID, clustering, virtualization)Working knowledge of KVM managementWorking knowledge with IBM and 3par Storage SystemsWorking knowledge of disaster recovery and replicationWorking knowledge of Zabbix monitoring System and Redhat Satellite.
Knowledge and experience in network security concepts, technologies and standardsKnowledge of TCP/IP protocol, DHCP, DNSSet up, configures, customizes and administers G-cloud in Redhat OpenstackSets up, configures, customizes and administers high end operating systems environments (UNIX / LINUX, Windows Server)Manage Virtual Machines (VMs) in Openstack and KVMManage and configure HPE 3par and Cisco Physical servers and needed connectivityManage IBM and 3par Storage Systems and perform zoning between San and ServersManage Zabbix, Redhat Satellite and WSUS systemsApplies OS patches and upgrades on a regular basisPerforms root cause analysis and resolves Operating Systems incidents and problemsConducts performance tuning and resource optimization as requiredIdentifies, researches and recommends enhancements and upgrades to the existing Operating systems and virtual environmentUnderstands and contributes to capacity planning, disaster recovery and high availability planning of operating SystemsEnsures optimal performance of Operating Systems across multiple end user environmentsMaintains functional documentation and user manualSkills:
