Job Description: Network Specialist SDWANLocation: SingaporeJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Specialist to design, implement, and manage modern, large-scale enterprise network solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, with a strong background in Cisco SDWAN technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, solution, implement, and operate advanced software-defined WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures (Cisco, Versa, Aruba, etc. ). Evaluate business objectives and recommend appropriate network solutions for enterprise environments. Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot complex network architectures, with strong skills in routing, switching, and SDWAN technologies.
Continuously align the network infrastructure with organizational goals through innovation, automation, and process improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and vendors to deliver reliable and scalable network services. Experience & Education: Minimum 6+ years in network design and delivery of enterprise-class services. At least 4+ years in software-defined networks and preferably SDWAN Viptela environment. Diploma or bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Certifications (Preferred): Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent (must). Versa Certified Administrator – SD-WAN Specialist or VNX100 Associate (preferred). Technical Skills: Advanced hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (must) and Versa Secure SD-WAN.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, GRE), QoS, MPLS, VXLAN, IPSec, etc. Proficient in WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Next-Gen FirewallsGood to Have Skills: Familiarity with NFV, SASE, Cisco Umbrella, Versa Secure Access. Working knowledge of DDI (Infoblox), Zscaler, CDN/WAF (Akamai, Imperva), and DDoS platforms. Experience with monitoring tools such as Spectrum, SevOne, CyberArk, ThousandEyes, MS Entra ID. Coding/scripting skills in Python and understanding of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and virtualization (advantageous). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation). High level of ownership, accountability, and resilience under pressure.
