This strategic role is ideal for someone with extensive NHS experience, particularly in primary care, who is passionate about driving innovation and delivering meaningful change across complex systems. Role OverviewReporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Director of Transformation will:

Lead the evolution of the organisation’s operating model to align with long term strategy and NHS prioritiesDeliver transformation programmes that improve EBITDA, operational performance, patient access, and experienceOversee business development initiatives including acquisition integration, contract mobilisation, and service redesignEngage with ICBs, NHS bodies, and wider system partners to ensure alignment with national healthcare transformation goalsChampion a culture of innovation, resilience, and continuous improvementCandidate ProfileSenior level NHS experience is essential; primary care expertise is highly desirableProven track record in leading complex transformation programmes, including mergers and acquisitionsStrong commercial acumen and the ability to balance financial, operational, and quality outcomesExcellent stakeholder engagement and change leadership skillsTeam and CultureThe successful candidate will lead a multi disciplinary team and work across the organisation to embed a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and high performance.
