As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will operate and maintain water infrastructure systems to ensure stable, reliable, and efficient 24/7 water supply and sewerage services. The position will entail approximately 70% fieldwork and 30% office tasks. Specific Responsibilities Will Include, Amongst Others.
Lead in designing and implementing water and sewerage projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsLead field service activities, encompassing installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing water and sewerage systemsDevelop and implement operations and maintenance plans and standard operating proceduresConduct on-site inspections and assessments to identify technical requirements, troubleshooting issues, and develop solutionsConduct routine maintenance and schedule preventive maintenance of the water and sewerage infrastructureCoordinate with project teams to ensure the timely and accurate implementation of water and sewerage projectsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing water and sewerage systemsPromote the Company's safety practices at the workplaceRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldMust have at least 8 years of proven experience designing, operating, and maintaining water infrastructure systemsMust have hands-on experience of at least 4 years in machinery operation and maintenanceExperience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and monitoringKnowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and mechanical principlesProficient in relevant software tools for engineering design, data analysis, and project managementMember of relevant professional bodies - EBK among others
