Position - Assistant Finance ManagerOil & Energy IndustryThe ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all aspects of assigned legal entities’ financial management and implementation of internal control environment across all locations. To support the Senior Finance Management in the delivery of a Finance Centre of Excellence.
Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts in accordance with internal procedures to highlight key business drivers to senior management. Prepare statutory accounts for the group and its various subsidiary companies in accordance with agreed accounting principles. Ensure compliance with all new intra-year changes to IFRS/IAS and develop a culture that ensures that the Finance team has a good understanding of both the accounting and regulatory changes in the sectors / geographic locations that the group operates in.
Lead financial meetingsComplete financial accounting and forecastingDeliver reports and metrics to leadershipQualificationsQualified accountant with minimum 5 years PQE (ACCA, ACA, CPA, FCCA, CIMA). Bachelor's or Master's degree or higher in Finance or related field 8 - 10 years of relevant experience. Detailed knowledge and application of IFRS / IASExperience in Oil Refinery, Power Plant or Oil Trading industriesFluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. )SAP experience highly advantageous
