Position - Senior Contract Engineer / ManagerSulaymaniyah - KurdistanResponsibilities: Setup of New Frame Agreements: Support the development and setup of new frame agreements with suppliers and vendors. Collaborate with stakeholders to define agreement terms, pricing structures, and performance metrics. Outline Agreement Migration on SAP: Assist in the migration of outline agreements to SAP systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Conduct testing and validation to verify successful migration and functionality. Review of Existing Contracts: Evaluate all existing contracts to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Recommend strategies for contract renegotiation, renewal, or termination based on review findings. End-to-End Contract Management:
Lead the end-to-end contract management process from pre-award to post-award activities. Manage contract negotiations, drafting, execution, compliance, and performance monitoring. Pre-Award Management: Participate in supplier selection processes, provide contract expertise, and support bid evaluations. Ensure alignment of contract terms with organizational goals, legal requirements, and best practices. Post-Award Management: Monitor contract performance, track deliverables, and manage changes or amendments as needed. Resolve contract disputes, address vendor issues, and ensure contract compliance throughout the lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 15 years of experience, preferred in energy industry and categories. Proven experience in contract management, procurement, and supplier relationship management. Experienced in SAP and Ariba systems, specifically in contract migration and management functionalities. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to review and interpret complex contracts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills. Certification in contract management (e. g. , FIDIC,CPCM, CFCM) is desirable.
