Tax Accountant

Korridor is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant for a dynamic multinational operating in Sub-Sahara Africa. The purpose of the role is to ensure tax compliance and accurate tax accounting, with support of in-country consultants. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate tax accounting and compliance for multinational group entities.Manage tax audits, administrative compliance, and remediation of issues.Handle tax administration, including CIT calculations, returns, and deferred tax.Oversee Central Finance’s tax administration (VAT, WHT, Payroll) and review related documents.Accountable for responding to tax authorities, conducting tax health checks, and obtaining tax clearance certificates.Maintain group tracking schedules and prepare management and shareholder status reports.Keep up-to-date with tax regulatory developments across relevant countries.Key Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Commerce (BComm) and a postgraduate qualification in tax.Minimum 5 years post-articles experience in tax, preferably within a multinational or accounting practice.Professional certifications such as SAIT, SAIPA, ACCA, SAIBA, AGA(SA), or CA(SA) or equivalent.Advanced skills in MS Excel, strong numerical ability, and high attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
