DescriptionJob description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Associate to join our Finance team. This role involves assisting in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients, supporting senior tax professionals with research and compliance, and ensuring adherence to both international and U.S. tax regulations. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and eager to grow in the field of international taxation. Experience working in a BPO environment or with U.S. tax filing will be highly appreciated.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients.Support senior tax professionals in conducting tax research, interpreting regulations, and identifying compliance and optimization opportunities.Prepare detailed work papers, schedules, and supporting documentation in accordance with internal controls and international reporting standards.Review financial statements and accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness for tax reporting purposes.Assist in preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations.Stay current with international and U.S. tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.Communicate effectively with clients and regulatory authorities to gather information and resolve tax-related inquiries.Support the preparation of audit documentation and assist during internal and external tax audits or reviews.Ensure timely and compliant submission of all tax filings and payments.Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to maintain accurate and efficient tax reporting processes.Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency in tax preparation and compliance.Engage in continuous learning to strengthen technical expertise and knowledge in international taxation.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.0–2 years of experience in taxation, accounting, or related fields (fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome).Experience in international taxation is required; exposure to U.S. tax filing or experience working in a BPO environment is highly appreciated.Strong understanding of U.S. and international tax regulations and compliance requirements.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting/tax software such as QuickBooks, CCH, Drake, or similar.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.Willingness to work night shifts to support international clients.Compensation & BenefitsMarket-competitive salary with annual performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive family medical coverage.Ongoing professional development and technical tax training.Supportive and collaborative work culture with international exposure and career growth opportunities.
