ResponsibilitiesTo manage, prepare, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports (VAT, PPh 21/23/25/26/29, PBB, etc.) and ensure timely submission of all tax filings to the authorities (DJP and other relevant agencies)Monitor tax payments and reconcile tax accounts in coordination with the accounting teamDevelop tax planning initiatives to optimize the company’s tax burden within legal frameworksProvide recommendations on tax-efficient structures and analyse the impact of new tax regulationsLead internal and external tax audits and prepare responses to tax queries, objections, and appealsWork with finance, procurement, mining operations, and logistics to align tax compliance with business processesEnsure proper withholding tax treatment in contracts, invoices, and vendor paymentsProvide tax training to key internal stakeholdersStay up to date with tax laws, mining regulations, and government directivesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (Master’s preferred).Brevet A & B certifications; Brevet C is an advantage.Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in taxation, 2-3 years in a Leadership role.Prior experience in coal mining or the natural resources sector is strongly preferred.Proven track record in handling tax audits, disputes, and regulations.Proficient in e-Faktur, e-SPT, and online tax system (DJP Online).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Attention to detail and high accuracy.Ability to manage strict deadlines and work in a dynamic operating environment.
