In Finance, we like to think of ourselves as allrounders — not only experts in accounting standards, but also partners to the wider business, supporting workflows, decision-making, and scalable processes.As a Tax & Reporting Accountant, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Nordics accounting processes, working closely with our Head of Accounting & Controlling. You will handle both day-to-day responsibilities and forward-looking tax and reporting initiatives.In this role, you’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, support critical tax compliance obligations, and contribute directly to HelloFresh’s mission to change the way people eat — forever.What You’ll Do (The Recipe)Audit and reconcile tariffs with importers to validate accuracy and reduce tariff expensesAnalyze and manage VAT & corporate tax deductions for Swedish representation expenses, identifying opportunities for optimization and increased recoveryPrepare quarterly corporate tax accruals and ensure timely submission of preliminary tax payments and assessments, liaising with third-party tax advisorsDrive local transfer pricing compliance, including preparing files and required submissions in collaboration with group taxPrepare local annual statutory accounts and coordinate with external audit teams for final approval and submissionMaintain continuous tax compliance, including preparing timely submissions and tracking relevant tax law changes to mitigate riskPrepare and lodge required governmental and regulatory statistics reporting filingsParticipate in half-year and year-end auditSupport automation projects across the teamContribute to continuous improvements and the month-end close process, tech/tool enhancements, and ad-hoc accounting projectsWhat You’ll Bring (Your Ingredients)Passion, drive, and excellent communication skillsA Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalentStrong working knowledge of Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian local tax law4+ years' experience working in the finance industryExperience in a fast-paced environment; experience with physical goods and inventory is a plusStrong attention to detail and understanding of data structures and complex workflowsStrong Excel/Google Sheets skillsInterest in financial systems, ideally with exposure to an ERP systemDanish language requiredAbove all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better.There are many ways to develop skills, and we value diverse experiences.
