Tax Specialist - Finance

Job DescriptionPrepare and/or review tax returns for monthly, quarterly and annual filings and ensure strict compliance to BIR deadlinesReconcile tax accounts to ensure accuracy in financial statement reportingPrepare for, and assist with BIR tax auditsPerform tax reconciliation statement (tax return vs books), tax reconciliation entries and analysis, tax schedules for external and internal usersDo escalations with superior on time (as needed), recommend proper resolution of such incident/escalationsRecommend and implement improvement on current processes related to functional assignmentUnderstand and engage in transfer pricing related discussions RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance /AccountingPreferably with 7 years experience, specializing in Finance – Taxation and Financial AnalysisWith knowledge regarding of tax laws and BIR issuances sufficient to provide guidance or recommend proper tax treatments to relevant stakeholdersHighly proficient in Excel, knowledge of other MS office applicationsAbove par analytical skills, excellent communication and comprehension abilities, and quick knowledge absorption.Self-motivated and result oriented
