As we scale delivery and strengthen our systems, several exciting new opportunities are emerging across our team. We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Office Manager to support the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.
This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality internal services, systems, and support across the organisation. Reporting to the Tumu Whakarae, the Office Manager leads a small team of four that supports office and marae coordination, administration, records and document management, internal and external communications, financial processing, events, and health and safety. In this role, you will oversee the effective running of our workspace, systems, and delivery routines, ensuring that our kaimahi are supported, our members are well-connected, and our processes reflect the values of manaakitanga, kaitiakitanga, whanaungatanga, and rangatiratanga.
You'll also play a key role in supporting HR processes, membership and benefit systems, and the day-to-day cultural integrity of our environment. He Kōrero Mōu / About YouOur ideal candidate will have:
3-5 years' experience in office management, administration, or operations roles, with demonstrated ability to coordinate systems, processes, and office workflowsExperience leading a successful team, and supporting recruitment processes, onboarding, and internal staff trainingWorking knowledge of H&S obligations in office settings including emergency preparedness, H&S documentation, inductions, and liaison with suppliers or contractors for facilities upkeepFamiliarity with basic financial administrationStrong interpersonal skills and a supportive, service-oriented approachDemonstrated ability to work independently, handle sensitive information discreetly, and juggle multiple demandsTe Reo Māori fluency, tikanga and mātauranga MāoriCommitment to upholding the mana and aspirations of Ngai Te Ruahikihiki ki TaumutuMō Mātou / About UsTaumutu Rūnanga Limited is a recently established kaupapa Māori charitable entity, responsible for the management and development of Te Taumutu Rūnanga Incorporated Society's subsidiary entities and interests.
