Dùthchas LTD is looking for TeacherWe are a ‘land-based learning’ company with operations in the Scottish Highlands (Hogwarts country). We are starting an office in Bangladesh to:deliver practical, enjoyable training and education in an underserved marketdeepen in country links within the forestry and farming sectorsprovide infrastructure and support for the Scottish businessOur long term goal is to offer people an antidote to the disconnect and fragmentation hyper-modern life encourages. We offer hospitality, workshops and journaling tools and, using a Ghazalian perspective, we aim to build better connections between humans the natural world.This work needs to be founded on sustainable business principles.In the medium term, we plan to develop products in the food & beverage and/or paper industries, drawing on Bangladesh’s strengths and mitigating its weaknesses.Short term, by the end of 1447/1404, we want to be running a club helping children learn art, science and ethics through gardening and husbandry. This would be both in person and online and would be a major focus for the first 6 months in post.In addition, you would provide 1:1 online support for students with specific learning needs. This would allow you to spend more time with individuals and develop skills in digital and AI-assisted education.Finally, you would play a vital role in helping in the company as a whole learn.
