Rangitoto College is looking for a Teacher and Curriculum Leader (2MU's) of Health and Physical Education, ideally with expertise in Health, to join our energetic, well-resourced, and collegial Health & PE Department. This is a full-time permanent position commencing Term 1 2026 or by negotiation. We do this by establishing and maintaining optimal conditions for learning, utilising a Knowledge Rich Curriculum and Mātauranga Māori, and enacting research-informed Teaching Principles.As well as running a top-performing HPE Scholarship programme, we have a range of PE courses, including Sports Science and Outdoor Education.Teachers at the college are expected to contribute to the co-curricular life of the college; please indicate in your application what sports or co-curricular activities you may be able to contribute to.Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' collective agreement (STCA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/ as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting $61,329.00 and top rate of $103,086.00.
