HKU-CTC offers long-term development opportunities to passionate talents who are devoted to a career in the clinical trial profession. HKU-CTC treasures public support to clinical research and takes research volunteers’ interests as priority. HKU-CTC’s Volunteer Resource Centre (VRC) is dedicated to public education on clinical research and communication with volunteers who are interested to support clinical research activities. VRC is seeking talents who have the passion in promoting healthcare advancement through public engagement. Comprehensive on-job training will be provided. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Main ResponsibilitiesPlan, design and implement campaigns/schemes for recruiting volunteers and patients for clinical studies;Promote volunteer relations and facilitate public education using multi-dimensional strategies (e. g. via social media platforms, membership programme and public events);Handle public enquiries on clinical research activities; andPerform other duties as assigned.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Life Sciences, Social Sciences or Journalism/Media Studies;Experience in customer service or public relations in NGOs or healthcare/medical institutions is an added advantage;Detail-minded, self-motivated and independent;A good team player with positive service attitude and strong sense of responsibility;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; andGood command of spoken and written English and Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua is a plus). The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis or 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Appointment on 2-year fixed term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
