Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Math Teacher at Ruamrudee International School Phuket (RISP), teaching students in Grades 4 to 8. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging, standards-aligned math lessons that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of mathematics. The role includes assessing student progress, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and collaborating with colleagues to support the school’s academic mission.In the following academic year, the position is planned to extend to include teaching high school mathematics. Candidates with a strong mathematics background and the ability to teach physics will be given special consideration.This is an on-site position based in Phuket, Thailand.⸻Qualifications • Strong academic background in mathematics; ability to teach physics is a plus • Proven experience in lesson planning, curriculum design, and effective classroom instruction • Ability to teach upper elementary and middle school mathematics (Grades 4–8), with readiness to expand to high school levels • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills • Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to support different learning styles and levels • Enthusiasm for inquiry-based learning and student-centered instruction • Collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) • Valid teaching certification or license in relevant subject area • Passion for inspiring students and nurturing a positive learning environment⸻
