DriveNets has raised $587 million in three funding rounds which enable us to dream big and bring on the most talented people.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to drive and oversee the development of our infrastructure platform.You'll lead a team focused on building Python-based microservices, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native solutions.This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, emphasizing strong Linux expertise and distributed systems knowledge.The Infrastructure group focuses on developing scalable microservices architectures and automation systems that power our platform. As the team leader, you'll guide the development of Python-based services while ensuring robust infrastructure practices.RequirementsBSc in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership roleStrong expertise in Python microservices developmentAdvanced Linux system administration and development skillsExtensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestrationProven experience with infrastructure automation and cloud platformsStrong understanding of Azure services and cloud architectureExperience with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD implementationAbility to mentor engineers and drive technical decisionsDeep understanding of Linux internals and system optimizationAdvantagesExperience with workflow engines and their implementationBackground in infrastructure as code (IaC) and automationExperience with high-scale distributed systemsTrack record of successful cross-team collaborationExperience with Agile methodologies and team managementStrong security background in Linux environmentsExperience with service mesh and microservices patternsBackground in performance optimization and troubleshootingThis Leadership Role Will Be Instrumental InLeading the technical vision and architecture of our Python microservices platformManaging and mentoring a team of engineers focused on infrastructure developmentEnsuring robust and scalable Kubernetes-based solutionsDriving technical decisions and ensuring best practices in developmentBuilding highly available and performant distributed systemsEducation And/or Relevant ExperienceBSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent hands-on experience in software developmentIf your experience is close but doesn’t fulfill all requirements, please apply.
