Because why not do it all?Position SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and structured Team Lead Traffic to join our logistics team. In this role, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of both inbound and outbound logistics processes. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing all outbound processes supervising and supporting a small team.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesCoordinates all outbound logistics processes, including shipment registration, customs and transport documentationEnsures timely and accurate deliveries, acting as point of contact for carriers and customer serviceResolves daily operational issues and supports planning in cooperation with traffic and warehouse managementLeads and supports 2 inbound team members, ensuring correct and timely processing of incoming goodsEnsures compliance with receiving and safety proceduresReports workload and operational performance to managementSupports training, creates specialist roles on the floor, and keeps training materials up to dateDrives collaboration between traffic and operations teamsParticipates in process improvements and optimization initiativesKeys to SuccessRequires expanded knowledge and experience in own area; incumbents are still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skillsRequires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill setsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesLeads and supports 2 inbound team membersRequirements And Preferred SkillsBachelor’s degree in logistics, economics or related field2–4 years of relevant experience in transport or traffic coordinationStrong analytical skills and confident use of ExcelExperience with SAP, AS400, or WMS (Dispatcher) is a plusExcellent organizational and communication skillsSolution-oriented, reliable, and stress-resistantPositive and flexible mindset; hands-on mentalityIndependent, structured, and lean working approachFluent in Dutch and EnglishWhy Gates?Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
