Do you want to make a difference?Our friendly Aquatic Services team are seeking a Team Leader - Swim School.Key responsibilities for this role include:Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the ILT Learn to Swim Programme and the Splash Palace Learn to Swim Programme.Ensure the quality of the learn to swim programme for all levels of the community (infants to adults) meets industry best practice.Ensure all Swim Teachers hold Swim Safe certificates and are working towards gaining an NZ Certificate in Aquatics (Swim and Water Safety Teacher) (level 3) and hold a current NZ First Aid Certificate.Prepare ILT School learn to swim annual forecast and actual participation spreadsheets for funding applications and accountability processes.Lead, coach and motivate team members.What you will bring:NZ Swim Safe CertificateNZ Swim Teachers CertificateCurrent First Aid Certificate3+ years demonstrated experience in learn to swim teaching across all age groups and skill levels or team leadershipA demonstrated ability to relate to people across all age ranges with excellent communication skillsWhat we offer:Career progression and training/development opportunitiesPositive focus of employee health and well-being: Workstation assessments, free flu vaccines, EAP services, 50% off eye exams, discounted gym memberships etcKiwisaver and Superannuation SchemesAccess to sick leave from day one of employmentAppointment time leave: Up to 2 hours for important appointments eg.
