For our branch in Tirana, with nearly 150 colleagues, we are looking for an Engineering Manager: RESPONSIBILITIESLead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellenceOversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical efforts with business objectives. Define and implement best engineering practices, coding standards, and process improvements. Conduct code reviews, provide architectural guidance, and drive technical decision-making. Hire, onboard, and retain top engineering talent while promoting a positive team culture.

Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and mitigate risks to ensure successful delivery. Drive continuous improvement in team productivity, development processes, and system scalability. Advocate for DevOps, CI/CD, and automation to enhance deployment efficiency and system reliability. Communicate technical challenges, progress, and solutions effectively across the organization. QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven track record of leading engineering teams to successfully deliver projects. Strong technical background in software development, architecture, and system design.

Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools. Very good communication skills both written and spoken in English and Italian. NICE TO HAVE: Experience in a startup or fast-growing environment. Knowledge of security best practices in software development. Experience leading remote or distributed teams.
