The preferred location for this position is Helsinki, Finland. We offer a possibility for hybrid work.Your Role And Responsibilities As a Technical Architect/ Lead Developer your role includes more than just coding. It includes multiple hats: developer, technical lead and architect. You’ll be working in interesting context as a part of skilled PLM and SLM Solutions team with diverse expertise. The team is part of Wärtsilä Information Management.Requirements for the position:Lead developer in the Developer role should be able to write clean code, understand software patterns, authentication, code management, deployment pipelines, testing and cloud architecture.Lead developer in Technical Architect role - being guardian of software development practises - has a strong opinion of what good things look like, formulate and document system principles, participate in creating guidelines for integrations, data, security and compliance, software development and governance.Lead developer - as Technical Lead – is willing to offer leadership to other developers while ensuring that development is proceeding base on agreed principles, as well as resolves conflicts in blameless fashion.Develop software solutions with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects and business stakeholders.    How to make the difference:Plan, document and investigate technologies for current and future solutions.Lead the utilization of development practises.Participate in strategic planning and project software architecture design.Be a technical decision maker for technical matters in the team.Guide developers to utilize correct ways of working and offer mentorship.  You can succeed if you are:Skilled communicator, capable of discussing technical concepts with business language,Able to understand complex problem areas,Systematic, fact based and analytical,Able to express yourself and interact with other people,A good person to be around.What are we requiring from you:Suitable education in Information Technology area (BSc, MSc) and strong experience in practical software developmentKnowledge of Java, Python, SQL, GraphQL, graph database technologies, APIs, AWS Lambda, Azure Container ServicesKnowledge and experience of software development utilizing cloud technologies,Experience in DevOps culture and Agile developmentGood spoken and written English language. Why you and us?    You are valued – as your true self.
