About the roleDo you have experience building smart scalable data or infrastructure solutions and an entrepreneurial mindset? Do you want to take an existing product to the next level and help shape how people manage their money in a smarter, safer, and more human way? Then this is for you. We’re looking for a Technical Co-Founder (CTO) for Aivinn – an early-stage fintech startup developing an AI-driven financial solution. The first version of the MVP is in place; now we want to move from “it works” to “secure, scalable, and market-ready.”About AivinnAivinn helps people better understand, plan, and manage their financial lives — supported by ethical and transparent AI. We build with privacy by default, fully aligned with European regulation, and focus on increasing financial self-reliance rather than pushing consumption or debt.The roleAs Co-Founder & CTO, you will own technical direction, architecture, and execution. You’ll build on the existing MVP, make it production-ready, and lay the foundation for future scalability and security. You will work directly with the founder on both the product roadmap and technical strategy. In this phase we’re looking for someone who likes to build, decide, and set direction, a hands-on technical leader with vision.What you’ll doLead technical development and architecture decisions.Implement security & privacy by design (OAuth2/OIDC, encryption, ISO 27001 guidelines).Improve infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability to ensure reliability.Expand and optimize LLM integration (prompt architecture, guardrails, performance).Set up and maintain data integrations and validation processes.Prepare the app for publication in the App Store and Play Store.Must-havesYou have demonstrable experience bringing a (mobile) product into production.Strong in cloud architecture and operations (AWS/GCP/Azure), including CI/CD pipelines.Security & privacy by design: OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, encryption at rest and in transit, secret management, least-privilege principles, and basic mobile hardening.GDPR awareness and practical understanding of data minimisation, logging, and retention.Solid observability setup (metrics, logs, tracing; e.g. OpenTelemetry) and experience with incident response and SLAs.Experience with LLM integrations in production (prompting/guardrails, latency and cost control, monitoring).Strong software engineering fundamentals: code reviews, testing, release management, and documentation.Proficient in at least one backend stack (e.g. Python/Node.js/TypeScript) and one mobile/web stack (e.g. Flutter/React Native/React).Experience with data modelling and SQL/NoSQL databases; designing robust APIs (REST/GraphQL).Hands-on leadership: able to both build and define technical direction in an early-stage environment.While the role is mainly remote, we value periodic on-site collaboration.
