As a Technical Expert, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.The role:As a Technical Expert, you will help drive our goals by:Preparing technical proposals and guarantees to support commercial salesDeveloping familiarity with CT product manufacturing, and working alongside Operations teams to coordinate and inform technical support for customersProviding technical input and support to other members of the global technical service team as requiredRepresent JM at relevant international conferencesActive involvement with sales teams in promoting CT products and services to customers, including provision of technical input during customer visitsProviding input to medium- and long-term account planning activitiesInvolvement in the development of new products including identification of market opportunities, guiding technical input and actively seeking feedback from customers to help identify needs that new products could solveKey skills that will help you succeed in this role:Degree in scientific/technical discipline; Chemistry or Chemical EngineeringSignificant experience in the field of heterogeneous catalysis - base metal and/or PGMTechnical background in a diverse range of chemical reactions and catalytic processes, including but not limited to, hydrogenation, dehydrogenation, oxidation, amination etc.Experience in process development or supporting plant operations in the petrochemicals and renewables industriesA strong technical ability and willingness to develop competencies quickly and on the jobExperience in a technical customer-facing role would be a distinct advantageStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!What we offer:We make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
