Technical Lead

Work from anywhere in Europe!!🚀 In a Nutshell I'm working with a fintech company in Canada and we are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to guide our development initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment where flexibility and technical depth are equally important.You’ll play a key role in translating roadmap features into actionable technical requirements, leading development efforts, overseeing cloud infrastructure operations, and maintaining a strong focus on code quality and production reliability.✨ ResponsibilitiesTranslate features on the roadmap into development ready requirements, solutions and documentationValidate and enhance business solutions and documentation with technical details required for developmentPerform code reviews of the newly developed functionality.Write, review, and maintain code, primarily in C# on Microsoft Azure, with some components written in Java.Perform all production related DevOps activities such as:Deployment and configuration of the production cloud infrastructureDeployment and promotion of the code into the production environmentMonitoring of the solution performance, reviewing logs and responding to the monitoring alertsAct as a technical point of contact with all third-partiesPerform in-depth analysis and debugging of identified production code issuesPerform regular scheduled activities, collect and maintain required evidence for PCI and other audits✔️ Requirements5+ years of hands-on development experience, with strong proficiency in C#/.NET and working knowledge of Java.Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud applications.Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.Experience performing code reviews, debugging, and ensuring adherence to coding standards.Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
