Overview: A Saudi-based creative production company specializing in immersive event environments is hiring a Technical Manager (Power) to lead the technical operations for an upcoming large-scale activation. The company delivers concept-to-execution solutions with a focus on aesthetic precision, functionality, and guest experience. This short-term engagement is ideal for an experienced Technical Manager with a strong background in temporary power systems, site coordination, and multi-departmental management. The Role: The Technical Manager will oversee power infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance while coordinating with AV, lighting, and logistics teams to ensure smooth technical execution across the venue. Responsibilities: Lead the planning and setup of temporary power systems. Supervise technical teams (power, AV, and rigging) on-site. Review technical drawings, distribution layouts, and safety compliance. Manage vendor coordination for generators, cabling, and power distribution. Conduct inspections, testing, and power load balancing. Troubleshoot on-site technical challenges efficiently. Prepare daily reports and updates for project management. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Technical Production. 5+ years of experience in managing technical operations for events or large installations. Strong understanding of power distribution, safety standards, and multi-system integration. Proven leadership and team coordination abilities. Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage. Nice to Have: Previous experience with creative or boutique event companies. Exposure to both technical and aesthetic aspects of event production.
