Our mission is to deliver innovative, sustainable technologies that reduce environmental impact and support global decarbonization efforts.We are looking for the right people — people who want to innovate, achieve, grow and lead.Role DescriptionIonada is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Program Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple engineering and business projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with company goals. The Program Manager will work closely with the engineering team and other departments to develop timelines, manage execution, and support operational activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & CoordinationCollaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to develop and maintain project timelines.Ensure teams remain on task and meet deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.Assist with project execution as needed, including hands-on support and problem-solving.Operational & Support ActivitiesCoordinate and enforce Ionada’s health and safety policies across all project sites.Ensure compliance with Ionada’s business procedures and processes.Support facility planning including floor layouts and equipment/component procurement.Assist with cost estimation for system builds and project scopes.Develop and manage budgets for systems and projects.Run cost models and perform financial analysis on business opportunities.Reporting & CommunicationPresent project status updates to leadership, comparing actual progress against planned timelines and budgets.Maintain clear documentation and communication across all stakeholders.Qualifications:Program Manager experience of at least 5 years preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.Auto parts or similar volume manufacturing experience.Mechanical Engineering degree and work backgroundPlant and plant process experience also an asset, e.g. petrochemical plant design/build or operations.8+ Years of work experienceProgram timing managementKeeping the team on time experienceStrong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Experience with budgeting, cost modeling, and procurement processes.Familiarity with health and safety regulations and enforcement.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).Preferred ExperienceBackground in cleantech, marine systems, or industrial equipment.Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.Knowledge of Canadian health and safety standards.Present project status updates to leadership, comparing actual progress against planned timelines and budgets.Maintain clear documentation and communication across all stakeholders.What Ionada OffersCompetitive compensation and benefits.A collaborative, mission-driven work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.The chance to contribute to impactful environmental technologies.Ready to make an impact?
