With an impressive array of European clients, we’re on the hunt for an ambitious and commercially minded Technical Programme Manager to support the growth of key accounts, drive efficiencies and make their mark as part of this vibrant and creative team who have won by the Market Research Society Award for Best New Venture. The role is not your typical project manager. We’re looking for someone with strong technical and interpersonal skills who wants to challenge conventional approaches to insight management and delivery. We think carefully about how we allocate our resources. We want someone to help us enhance commercial efficiency while ensuring best-in-class project delivery. An eagerness to learn. We don’t expect you (or anyone!) to know everything. We’re looking for someone with the appetite and hunger to grow and develop. As Opinium’s newest office we are very much a start-up. Regardless of level, there are times when we all need to take on tasks which are outside our remit. Desired skillsStrong technical skills. Previous coding, scripting or data processing experience is highly desired. Willingness to learn additional software skills as required. Comfortable integrating AI into everyday workstreams to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery. Comfortable with ETL processes such as Power Query in Excel. Knowledge of VBA, Power Automate or Zapier an advantage. Demonstrated expertise across the project lifecycle – from questionnaire development to analysis and reporting. Extensive experience of managing complex quantitative and qualitative multi-market studies. Comprehensive understanding of brand tracking methodologies, brand equity frameworks and consumer insights approaches. Strong knowledge of sampling and quota management for both B2B and B2C studies. Skilled in presenting ideas with clarity and with visual impact. Proficient in both Google Slides and PowerPoint. Confident and engaging presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of balancing individual responsibilities with team-wide resource planning to ensure sustainable workloads. Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as take instruction. Strong team-working skills. We are looking for candidates that can manage both upwards and downwards regardless of seniority. Ability to work under tight time frames on multiple projects or requests simultaneously with the ability to reprioritize as needed. Fluent in English. Proficiency in other languages would also be highly beneficial. Experience6+ years of agency experience would be beneficial.
