OverviewWe are seeking highly skilled Technical Project Leads (TPLs) (m/f/d) to join a major CAPEX project in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role is critical for ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines during construction, commissioning, and qualification phases. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to drive project success and maintain team cohesion over several years.Workload: 100%Duration: 3 years (possibility of extension)Location: SteinHome office: 2 days per weekKey ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Coordination:Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned systems (approx. 10 systems per TPL).Coordinate across multiple disciplines (engineering, vendors, third parties) to ensure flawless integration of black utilities, clean utilities, and process equipment.Oversee preparation activities during construction and commissioning phases; ensure readiness before building completion.Technical Expertise:Interpret and manage PNIDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) to understand system interconnections and ensure compliance.Perform engineering quality checks and validate technical deliverables.Support technical compliance requirements (e.g., non-electrical ATEX, fire protection).Vendor & Stakeholder Management:Interact with vendors for equipment specifications (e.g., liquid tanks) and coordinate third-party activities.Review service provider proposals and assess technical feasibility.Standardization & Compliance:Define and maintain unified technical standards to reduce investment, operational, and maintenance costs.Ensure adherence to GMP and site-specific compliance requirements.Safety & Culture:Promote and support a strong safety culture throughout all project phases.Foster collaboration and proactive communication within a large, multidisciplinary team.QualificationsTechnical Background: Strong engineering expertise in one or more areas: black utilities, clean utilities, or process equipment.Experience: Minimum one completed large-scale GMP project as a TPL or equivalent leadership role.Industry Knowledge: Pharmaceutical / GMP experience is mandatory.Soft Skills:Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive, optimistic, and self-aware personality.Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to seek support.Strong coordination and problem-solving capabilities.Languages: English required; German is a plus.Other: Commitment to long-term engagementBenefitsOpportunity to lead critical systems in a high-profile, multi-year project.Work in a dynamic, collaborative environmentProfessional growth in a GMP-regulated, technically challenging setting.
