Technical Project Manager - High Speed Board Design

Why Join Us?We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in software development and hardware engineering to join our Firewall Core Group. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex, cross-functional projects that span both hardware and software domains, with a focus on delivering new products and releases for Check Point Security Gateways.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional hardware/software projects, managing new product development and releases for Check Point Security Gateways.Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery.Manage board design, hardware development, and prototype builds (EVT, DVT, PVT) with contract manufacturers.Coordinate multiple interfaces, including R&D, QA, PMO, and Product Management.Drive software release processes, infrastructure changes, and quality improvements.Ensure smooth project execution by maintaining schedules, mitigating risks, and managing external vendors.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, software Engineering or similar technical discipline.Knowledge of hardware design techniques and hardware schematic principlesExperience in boards design and evaluation of HW vendors2-5 years’ experience in managing Hardware projectsExperience in SW engineering and project managementExcellent communication, organizational and leadership skillsSelf-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skillsDetailed knowledge and understanding of product development processesStrong engineering / technical background / Hands on approachExperienced in various project planning tools such as Jira and MS ProjectSelf-motivated, able to accept new challenges and motivate othersExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.Nice To HavePMP CertificationBackground in network protocolsKnowledge of C/C++ language programmingKnowledge of cloud services, cyber security and computer networkingManagement of overseas sub-contractors experienceKnowledge in production and manufacturing
