About the Role:TAI is looking for an experienced Project Manager to champion complex Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical engineering projects. You'll serve as the Technical "Conscience," overseeing all project phases, including budgeting, scheduling, and managing expert teams. We work for our clients, and we work for one another.Here’s a glimpse into your day to day:Lead the technical engineering efforts and act as the Technical “conscience” for projects. Ensure project deliverables meet TAI and client expectations Manage all phases of a project - setup, execution, and closeout Develop and maintain project and resource schedules Define and secure the necessary Subject Matter Experts (SME). Lead and task manage teams of Subject Matter Experts Develop and maintain project management deliverables such as project control and execution plans, risk registers, and regular project progress reports. Provide a single point of contact between TAI and client – getting info from client for the design, Providing the client with necessary information and resolving most project issues with the client. Prepare initial budget, tracking overall costs, approving pending invoices, and pursuing change orders as required. Perform overall project quality control. Research and apply applicable industry codes Independently work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to codes is required. Direct and review work of project design team; check progress of work and alert managers to change in scope and additional services. Direct CAD designers for the preparation of construction drawings. Coordinate project design with other engineering disciplines.You’ll be a perfect fit if you have:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical is preferred) from an accredited university Professional Engineer or PMP is a plus Minimum of ten years of applicable consulting or engineering experience within life sciences/ pharmaceutical industry. Minimum of ten years of experience in utilizing construction documents for life sciences/pharmaceutical facilities. Basic understanding of all engineering disciplines with capacity to self-perform process engineering. Minimum of ten years of experience reviewing and approving PFD’s, P&ID’s, equipment and piping specifications. Preferably, knowledge preparing documents. Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience managing life science engineering projects at new or existing facilities. Experience with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standards and requirements required Advanced knowledge and application of cGMP’s and ASME BPE required Understanding of process controls Great leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team Ability to perform field work that will include walking, kneeling, sitting, standing, climbing stairs and/or ladders. Must be willing to travel to client sites Candidates must have experience with the following software: Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project AutoCAD (ability to open drawings, navigate, edit text, and print) - PreferredCompensation and Benefits:Pay: $150,000 – 185,000 annually (based upon experience) Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable)PTO and Paid HolidaysHealth Benefits: Employee through family level coverage for medical, dental, and vision insurances.
