Role Summary:The Project Technical Manager will lead a team of architects in developing concept designs into fully coordinated, constructible projects ready for execution. This role ensures the technical quality, feasibility, and compliance of all design deliverables while maintaining the original design intent. The position collaborates closely with estimation, project management, contractors, and suppliers to optimize project delivery, identify variations, and propose practical solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and coordinate concept designs into detailed construction-ready drawings.Conduct audits and detailed reviews of drawings produced at all project stages to ensure accuracy and quality.Provide technical guidance to the Estimation team, including identifying arbitrage opportunities between design and brief to manage contingencies.Analyze as-built conditions, identify discrepancies, and propose viable solutions.Recommend alternative materials or methods during estimation or execution stages to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.Lead technical workshops at the concept architect’s office to review briefs and design narratives.Examine and technically review received bids, including proposed specifications and drawings.Produce detailed specification sets for projects and ensure alignment with project requirements.Lead technical aspects of projects to successful and high-quality completion.Create safe, practical, and efficient construction details, ensuring QA/QC of Design Development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD).Perform site supervision audits to verify proper execution of details.Propose sustainable and suitable construction solutions while maintaining design intent.Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including service providers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure project alignment with objectives.Performance Measures:Coordination and delivery of high-quality, constructible drawings.Identification and management of project variations and discrepancies.Timely and accurate briefing of Estimation team for cost management.Successful technical execution of projects meeting budget, schedule, and quality standards.Compliance with Blink Experience standards and construction/engineering best practices.Approval of site mock-ups and alignment of execution with design intent.Technical Skills & Experience:Minimum 12 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in major building projects (retail, malls, etc.).Advanced proficiency in English.Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.Highly proficient in AutoCAD and BIM.Experience with EPC construction contracts and cost management.Knowledge of Saudi market technical practices, construction methods, and materials.Working Conditions:Primarily based at the head office (5 days/week).Occasional weekend work during bidding stages.Travel to KSA may be required for supplier, contractor, or client meetings.On-site presence needed during project execution.
