Our role is pivotal in ensuring suppliers meet the technical and quality standards required for successful project execution.We work in close collaboration with R&D, Marketing, and PMO functions to align supplier capabilities with product innovation and market needs.Key Responsible: Project Management, Technical Process developments at supplier, Negotiations. Team consists of 6 colleagues located in Netherlands, Germany and Portugal.Key ResponsibilitiesManage RFQ and Costing Activities: Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes and support supplier development initiatives to ensure readiness for new product launches.Project Management: Oversee supplier-related project activities, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial requirements.Supplier Collaboration: Conduct technical and commercial discussions with suppliers to drive optimal solutions in quality, cost, and delivery.Process & Tool Support: Provide support on purchasing-related IT tools and assist the broader Purchasing team across various process topics.Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive improvement initiatives within the Purchasing function to enhance efficiency, transparency, and performance.QualificationsWe are looking for a student:Level of Education: HBO & WOEngineering / Technical education or Supply chain managementTechnical Background in Mechanical or relevant Engineering functionsRequirementsYou have a nationality of an EU member state or if not, you are a student at a Dutch university.You must be available for at least five months.You can work at our office in Eindhoven.You are based in the Netherlands, preferably in Eindhoven.Additional InformationWe offer a challenging and learning environment;Strong motivation.Creative mind and a good organizer.Team player and able to work independently.Proactive and not afraid to take charge.Open attitude, suitable for an internationally oriented environment.You are interested in and/or have an affinity with technical products.
