Job Description

Role PurposeThe Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for driving business growth by generating leads, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role involves conducting sales presentations, product demonstrations, and contract negotiations to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through client visits and networking.Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase technical capabilities and value propositions.Engage with clients to discuss requirements, answer technical and commercial queries, and negotiate pricing and terms.Prepare and review quotations in coordination with the Sales Coordinator.Follow up on proposals to secure client purchase orders.Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Supply Chain, and Accounts) to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and payment collection.Achieve individual and company-wide sales targets.Collaborate with the Marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional activities.Prepare and submit regular reports, including: Monthly win–loss analysis, Monthly sales pipeline updates, Weekly sales planning, Daily client visit reportsMaintain accurate and up-to-date client records.Attend departmental, divisional, and team sales meetings.Perform other duties as assigned.How You’ll Make a DifferenceAs a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging technical expertise with customer needs. Your ability to understand complex systems and communicate value effectively will help strengthen client trust, drive revenue growth, and enhance the company’s market presence.Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Science (any major), Food Science, Microbiology, or a related technical field.1–3 years of experience in industrial product sales, preferably within a technical or engineering-focused environment.Strong understanding of the sales process and market dynamics.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).Proven commitment to outstanding customer service.Desirable Skills & ExperienceStrong presentation and persuasion skills.Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments.Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and professionalism.Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on building long-term relationships.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
