DescriptionNayax Japan is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Sales Engineer to support the deployment and growth of Nayax products in the Japanese market. This role is critical to bridging technical, market, and customer needs, ensuring our product reaches its full potential in Japan.The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, native-level Japanese proficiency, and experience in payment systems and certifications processing.Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeTechnical & Market EnablementAccompany the sales cycle with the sales managers ensuring success customer acquisitionConduct technical market research to identify customer needs and trends in Japan’s unattended payment and vending sectors.Define software and hardware requirements based on customer feedback and market analysis.Work with the engineering team to define and implement required customizations (e.g. accessories, hardware adaptations for local market compatibility).Lead software integrations, supporting sales and technical teams with hands-on expertise.Certification & ComplianceDrive JVMA certification processes for Sanden, Fuji, and other relevant vendorsCoordinate FeliCa e-money certification, including documentation and liaison with certification bodies.RequirementsWhat Makes You a Great Fit:8+ years of experience in technical systems, pre-sales engineering, or technical project managementNative or fluent Japanese and basic writing level English communication skillsProven experience in hardware/software integration.Background in technical sales enablement or customer-facing engineering roles.Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with unattended card reader devices, or similar payment technologies.Strong understanding and/or proven experience in integrations and certification processes in Japan (JVMA, e-money, etc.)Familiarity with Japanese vending machine protocols and coin mechanisms.Why Join NayaxTake ownership of your work and make a real impact on our customers.Join a fast-growing global fintech company that values innovation, teamwork, and exceeding customer expectations.Learn More About NayaxNayax is a global fintech company (NASDAQ; TASE: NYAX) providing an end-to-end platform for payments, consumer engagement, and business operations.Founded in 2005, Nayax empowers businesses to grow revenue, reduce operational costs, and deliver seamless commerce experiences.
