The organisation is expanding internationally while remaining true to its core values of quality, innovation, and sustainability.Role Overview:The Technical Sales & Product Manager will drive growth and develop the market and customer portfolio within the Flame Retardant segment across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, business development acumen, and consultative sales skills to deliver innovative solutions and expand the company’s market presence.Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts at all levels, including senior management, production, marketing, technical and purchasing teams.Achieve and exceed sales targets in the Flame Retardant segment through proactive business development.Identify and acquire new business through new accounts, applications and geographies.Initiate, drive and manage customer projects throughout the entire sales cycle using a consultative selling approach.Analyse customer problems and collaborate with internal departments (R&D, production, marketing) to develop the best solutions. Proactively propose solutions based on technical expertise and experience.Serve as a market expert: stay up-to-date on trends, regulations, opportunities and potential impacts and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.Monitor competitive activity, conduct analysis and provide strategic recommendations.Contribute to product development and improvement initiatives, acting as the central link between customers and internal teams.Collaborate strongly with internal departments (R&D, marketing, operations) to ensure solutions are practical, innovative and aligned with customer needs.Bring ideas and proposals to achieve business targets, focusing on growth and the development of new products and applications.Travel internationally across EMEA and beyond as required.Candidate Profile: HBO/WO degree in a relevant technical field, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar, results-driven role.Specialised knowledge of Flame Retardant technologies and applications.Strong focus on sales and business development, with a consultative approach.Excellent problem-solving, listening and analytical skills.A dynamic, analytical and entrepreneurial individual with a proactive, decisive attitude and an eye for collaboration and quality.Strong relationship-building, communication and commercial skills.Fluent in English (both written and spoken); willingness to learn Dutch if not already proficient.
