Technical Scrum Master

About the JobWe are seeking an experienced and technically adept Scrum Master to lead Agile software development teams. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile best practices, and the ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.Core Responsibilities- Lead Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.- Drive sprint execution and delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.- Collaborate with Product Owners, managers, directors, SMEs, and lead engineers to refine and prioritize the backlog.- Guide estimation, capacity planning, and technical grooming using Agile frameworks.- Remove impediments and resolve cross-functional blockers.- Conduct root cause analysis and promote continuous improvement.- Maintain transparency through Jira and Confluence dashboards and reports.- Track team metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput) and use insights to optimize performance.- Ensure alignment with product goals, technical strategy, and architectural guidelines.- Foster collaboration across engineering, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.- Support team maturity by coaching Agile principles, promoting self-organization, and encouraging innovation.- Communicate status, dependencies, and risks effectively to senior stakeholders.Required Skills- Strong understanding of SDLC, microservices, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).- Proficient in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and experienced in driving Agile metrics.- Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, or similar is preferred).- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, multi-project environments.- Experience with test automation and quality-focused deliveryQualifications- B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.- 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development projects.- 2+ years of prior technical experience (dev/engineering) is strongly preferred.
