Technical Services Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Equipment Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical devices and equipment in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.Key Responsibilities:Install, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on biomedical equipment.Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of medical devices, including diagnostic, monitoring, and therapeutic equipment.Ensure all equipment is in compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.Provide technical support to healthcare professionals and staff regarding equipment usage and maintenance.Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure optimal equipment performance.Keep detailed records of service reports, repairs, and maintenance activities.Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry best practices related to biomedical equipment.Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment.Strong knowledge of biomedical equipment safety standards and regulations.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various healthcare facilities as required.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Biomedical Equipment Technology (CBET) or similar certifications.Experience with a wide range of medical devices, including imaging, patient monitoring, and therapeutic equipment.Benefits:Opportunities for professional development and training.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Travel allowances and company-provided tools and equipment.
