Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?Job Purpose:To take the Strategic lead for the Engineering Domain in the Brewery and to lead related Strategic Initiatives in the Brewery, ensuring Corporate Governance for equipment and system integrity through the application of and adherence to relevant Standards and Legislation.Roles and Responsibilities:Engineering Management, Manage Plant Asset Care Budget / FinancesLead the establishment of a capacitance engineering capabilityLead engineering projects by increasing efficient project planning and execution thereof *Ensure conformance to specifications and standards Manage the F&E function including Operations and MaintenanceManage Site Engineering, encompassing Site Maintenance, Engineering Stores and Engineering procurementLead the risk management program, encompassing occupational health and safety and risk managementEnsure legal compliance in engineering and adherence to legal standards/regulationsPeople Management Facilitate team problem solving and decision makingLead the engineering team in a manner that engenders ownership, empowerment and team interactionLead the development of engineering team goals and ensure these are communicated and understood by team members Conduct regular engineering team goal review sessionsEnsure training need analyses are conducted and training plans developed for team membersEnsure appropriate competencies are developed in the team, and ensure cross skilling occurs within the engineering teamMaintain safe healthy and risk-free working environmentEnsure safety, healthy & environmental legislation complianceMaintain safety and housekeeping standardsManage Human ResourceDevelop employeesEnsure a healthy industrial relations climateManage and apply personnel practicesEnsure manufacturing systems and instrumentation integrityMaintain system integrity and change controlMaintain and calibrate site instrumentationEnsure engineering standards complianceEnsure application documented standardsDevelop and update engineering standards through ZBS MaintenanceLead maintenance strategy lead as per VPO Optimize use of planned maintenance systemApply formal failure analysis processApply relevant engineering spares strategy Implement VPO and Associated GOP'sManage progress according to glide paths set and agreedManage small site projectsProject completion on time and in budgetManage financial performanceManage ZBB Maintenance and CAPEX budgeting processControl departmental costsReview financial results.Expected Standards:Utilities, Packaging and Brewing IQMSMaintenance Cost per Hl to benchmarksSpares stockholding levelsUtilities costWorkshop HousekeepingIdentification of unsafe practices.GMP/5S audit resultsAdherence to local regulationsMaintenance skills on site including Coswin.PLC and Software skills on siteSCAP progress [Skills Competency acquisition Process]Brewing Plant ReliabilityUtilities Plant ReliabilityPackaging Machine EfficiencyMaintenance IndicatorsComplete in time and in costRequirements:Min BSc/HND – Engineer Electrical/Mechanical.
