Technical Superintendent (Shipbuilding)

as the leading recruitment agencies, Adecco is currently supporting one of the leading and most well-known companies in the Shipyard Company industry in their search for Technical Superintendent that will be placed in Jakarta.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the technical operations of assigned harbour tug vessels, ensuring high performance, safety, and compliance.Plan, monitor, and control maintenance, repair, dry-docking, and survey schedules in line with class and statutory requirements.Conduct regular vessel inspections to ensure machinery reliability, seaworthiness, and readiness.Liaise with ship crew, shipyard, class societies, and vendors to coordinate technical activities.Manage technical budgets, spare parts inventory, and cost efficiency measures.Provide technical guidance and support to Chief Engineers and shipboard personnel.Prepare technical reports and performance analyses for management.Qualifications:Minimum ATT I Certificate, with sailing experience as Chief Engineer (experience on tugs or small crafts is an advantage).At least 2–3 years of shore-based experience as Technical Superintendent or equivalent in the maritime industry.Strong knowledge of harbour tug machinery, propulsion systems, and planned maintenance systems.Familiarity with class/flag requirements and maritime safety regulations.Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Willing to travel and board vessels for inspections and short sailing periods as requiredGo directly email me your most updated resume to Tifani.panjaitan@adecco.com and will contact you ASAP if you're meet the requirements.*Only selected candidates will be contacted
