Technical Superintendent

XT has offices in Israel, Greece, India, and Romania, and 2,500 seafarers from 18 nationalities that call it home.Responsibilities & DutiesDaily follow-up on all vessels' technical-related performance and requirements.Monitor and follow daily vessel correspondence and provide feedback/assistance on technical issues.Routine Inspections of the assigned vessels (visits and/or by remote inspections).Provide any data required for vessel fixtures or any data requested by charterers.Work closely with the Marine and Purchasing departments to improve and follow up on the vessel's maintenance.Monitor and evaluate the technical crew onboard.QualificationsA minimum of a year of experience as a Technical Superintendent onshore and several years of experience at sea with at least a year as a Chief Engineer.An experience with Container and bulk vessels- an advantage.A proven background in the maritime industry.Excellent interpersonal skills.
