The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: Supervise daily operations of Engineering Department team leaders and staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures Inspect completed maintenance and repair work to verify quality and adherence to standards Support implementation and monitoring of JEMS, including Fire, Life & Safety Matrix, PPM, and Work Order Systems Address staff grievances, suggestions, and complaints, escalating issues to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer when necessary Ensure familiarity and compliance with all Engineering Department policies, processes, and procedures Perform additional duties as reasonably assigned by management About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Minimum of 5 Years in a 5-star Hotel environment Mechanical or Electrical diploma or equivalent Understand HVAC and Electrical Systems Problem solving and follow up abilities About The BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
