A Snapshot of Your DayTechnical Support Engineer is an integral part of the Field Service & Tooling organization in Europe and Africa. We are responsible for managing Field Service projects for GS D and GS C products within the region and may assist outside the region as needed.How You’ll Make An ImpactTake ownership for the technical matters relating to the support of the customers you are assigned to, including scheduled and un-scheduled activities and issues.Investigate and resolve technical issues in a timely yet safe manner, supporting the return to service of critical infrastructure equipment.Engage with a range of functions across the business to deliver excellent support to your customers.Find opportunities for business development with customers, and provide technical leadership on such matters.Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support our customers, including the opportunity for overseas travel to customer sites.Building strong partnerships and communication with respective PCC’s within the FS global organization.Supporting FS manager by Ensuring optimal FS team setup based on short-term and long-term demand both for planned and unplanned outages.Support our digitalization efforts by adopting as a minimum the strategic projects like Primavera/SF FS Lightning, Polaris (SAP FSM or SF FS Lightning)What You BringBachelor’s degree college/university in mechanical, electrical engineering, or equivalent5+ years of personal experience in Field Service.Outstanding Teammate with strong leadership capabilities and communication skills.Good understanding of our company organization, including head offices and the region.Have strong experience in the operation and service of gas turbines, with experience in aero-derivative gas turbines being advantageous.Be familiar with and experienced in the application of a range of problem-solving techniques, both theoretical and practicalFluent in English and PortugueseStrong analytical skills, understanding of turnkey project set ups and understanding of various implementation concepts are essential.About The TeamOur Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
